About Me.
Born and raised in New York City, I was drawn to Duke because of its beautiful, suburban campus combined with its unparalleled academic and athletic prowess. While I was initially unsure of which major to declare, I ultimately chose economics because I felt as if a degree in it would be applicable to many different career paths. That being said, I had strong interests in both entrepreneurship and political science, so instead of enrolling in a minor, I chose to join two different certificate programs, one being Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) and the other being Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE).

Throughout my time at Duke, I can say with conviction that many of my favorite classes have been those that belong to the I&E program. It was in the spring of my freshman year that I took my first I&E class, titled Sports Entrepreneurship, where I became fascinated by areas of innovation throughout sports business and found inspiration for my ongoing start-up, Fanful. From that point onwards, I became enamored with the entrepreneurship program and thought to have found my career calling as an entrepreneur.

Over the course of my remaining undergraduate experience, I have enrolled in extensive I&E coursework, leveraging the information and skills taught along the way as assets to help guide and inform my founder experience. I truly cannot overstate how invaluable my classes were in helping me create a working product, go-to-market strategy, business model, and fundraising material (amongst countless other things). While I am still unsure whether or not I'll be able to continue growing Fanful as a full-time job, I plan to stay close to the entrepreneurial ecosystem by working in early-stage venture capital out of college. I like to believe that my operational experience founding a start-up, in addition to my coursework and associate experience working alongside Duke Capital Partners and several other VC firms, will allow me to hit the ground running wherever that may be. My ambition is to support and invest in the next wave of passionate innovators, a commitment I hold with high regard. Although my primary interest lies in sports business innovation, I am also drawn to B2B software and D2C products across various industries.
